The Lobe, played by David Warner, is one of the more prominent villains in this series.
History
Lobe's background is never explored. All that is known about him is that he is a super genius with a giant brain for a head. He also has a great deal of low self-esteem, once surrendering just because Frekazoid told him his plan was stupid. In his first appearance he captured Freakazoid to see "what makes him tick". He operates on him and discovers a bomb that blows him up. In his next appearance his villainous plan was interrupted in the middle of episode by TV network executives as not falling into their standards. His next scheme took advantage of the fact that Freakazoid had to grant all requests on his birthday, and Lobe requested to be left alone. Another scheme was when he trapped Freakazoid and Cosgrove in a shoot 'em up video game and let the actual game characters run amok. Lobe was later among the many villains captured by Dr. Mystico. Lobe is the primary villain in the series finale, having the ultimate weapon to destroy Freakazoid built. He and the other villains throw a party as they are about to kill Freakazoid, but the weapon falls apart and they are swiftly defeated.
